your belly is filled with gold dust

A thousand solar flares gave birth to him,
a belly full of gold dust and lungs filled with sunflower seeds.
he makes tuesdays smell like burnt basil.

he devours me with his eyes, iris specks all over my awkward bones
milky as the moon.

he holds the world inside him and no one could feel it.
He keeps secrets behind his eyelids where centipedes hide.

He weeps tears of brilliant yellow for me to drink.
it travels down his cheeks and falls from his perfectly shaped chin into my mouth.
My limbs fall on the earth like cut curtains.
