the antagonist show was one of the best shows ive ever been to. right after parkway drive ofcourse. the crowd was immersed in energy, stage diving from start till end. me and the girls were right upfront all the way. hands down, it was one fucking kick ass show. and to you folks that didn't get to make it, you guys totally missed out! we drank with antagonist after the show at their lodge and i guess we drank way too much and i found out yesterday that i walked up to the apartment with only one shoe on that night. 'cause i found the other left shoe in my brother's car. so to sum it all off, i walked home with only one shoe and didnt even realize it.
i am the shit alright.
me and my cunts at the antagonist show

ditched work on saturday cause i can and also cause i was extremely exhausted + hungover. i was feeling pretty shitty right up to yesterday. had such a hard time waking up to go to work, due to staying out all night hangin out wit friends. watched a late night movie and then hung out at Lido talking about how much the movie sucked and also talking about the word 'cunt'? qoqoi's new favourite word.haha had soooo little sleep, i am really really really not a morning person.forced myself to wake up, got dressed, and then was ALMOST late for work ( a minute late and 5bucks get deducted from my paycheck ) , was so tired and restless the clock felt like it wasn't even ticking. everything felt like it was in slow motion, the minutes the hours went by so slowly it was absurd.i was practically going insane. but after a long and painful wait, the clock finally strike 5.30. went for pizza with nana and dad and then bought myself a gem stone necklace, WHICH I PERSONALLY THINK TOTALLY BRINGS GOOD CHI. my day today was easy breezy. despite the fact that i woke up preeeeetty late, had coffee coming out of my nose ( the common case of coughing while having liquid in your mouth), rushed to work thinking i was going to be late yet again, but i arrived JUST in the nick time. my day was blissful, enveloped with a whole lot of good positive energy. feka came to the bookshop and we had lunch together. not much customers came in so i read and while i was browsing through some second-hand books, i found a rather intriguing book ; 'THE LOTUS AND THE ROBOT' by arthur Koestler. its mainly about his half year journey to India and Japan, exploring the the Eastern traditions of self-realization in order to gain perspective on the predicament of the West and humanity in general. The Lotus and the Robot is the story of year and a half long journey to India and Japan and his study of Yoga and Zen in each respective country. With well balanced critical eye coupled with an open mind, Koestler's account reads like a spiritual ethnography, observing the implications of spiritual traditions within their cultures, their psychological manifestations, historical trends, and contrasts with his own collective Western ideals and biases. that book has definitely caught my interest, so im reserving it along side with the rest of the books ive reserved;
The Cosmological Eye by Henry miller
The inheritance of loss by Kiran desai
The Moon and Sixpense by W. somerset Maugham
The spiritual tourist by Mick brown
yes i am feelin' nerdier than ever.
