acclimatization.

I have evolved into a not-so-nocturne-raccoon of some sort, probably an extremely rare species, I’m still trying to absorb everything in, and patiently wait for all this madness as well as the drastic changes to finally sink in, trying to just simply survive in this whole new habitat. Being socially inapt was a huge struggle during the first few days of college considering I knew absolutely NO ONE , but a tiny spark of optimism somehow still subsists in me so I managed to get through all that and now I have a bunch of new crazy ass friends from my journalism class, each of them individually unique in their own way.

In consequence to losing my glasses while I was ridiculously drunk during my farewell party, I am now no longer a four-eyed creature. Not technically. Ahoy contact lenses~!
I’m adjusting well, it took me awhile though, and my face feels way lighter. Its pretty rad actually;
I get to wear shades now. Definitely beats squinting my eyes on sunny days out.
I’m also adapting well towards this whole new environment im currently in, Sabah and Kuala Lumpur definitely has a large difference gap on certain terms and its definitely got an entirely different atmosphere. Almost everyone here in KL is always rushing, either if it’s rushing with purpose or without, their just, always rushing. Where as in Sabah, people are more laid back. Well not to say rushing is a bad thing, I think it creates a rather more vivacious and spirited feel to the city .
But there’s also this one tiny matter that’s been bothering me, I get stared at more by people here compared to back home. I guess large earlobes is still something unusual to the society here.
Well, get used to it folks, you’ll be seeing me a whole lot~!

xx
